NYE & NYD Outfits

This is long overdue...11 days overdue infact! This was my New Year's Eve outfit. We spent it as we have for the last few years, at our friend's parents' house. They have an annual party with food, lots and lots of wine and the most incredible firework display courtesy of our friend.

My dress is from Simply Be and is one of my favourites. It doesn't do my shape any favours because the waist is a little too high but it's one of the comfiest dresses I own, plus it's good for swooshing!

And for your viewing pleasure; my chubby face. 

We only surfaced on New Year's Day to go and have lunch in the pub with our friends. I was feeling a little worse for wear so put something cosy but pretty on, threw my hair up and left my make-up minimal. 

I love this Gok Wan for Sainsburys jumper. I picked it up in their post-Christmas sale for £12.50 and I've already worn it at least once a week. I love the art deco style fan pattern and the added sparkle makes it a bit prettier than a regular old jumper.
